How God is working through our youth, volunteers, and community partners.

My journey with YFC began in November 2023, during a season when God was powerfully pursuing me. I was deeply engaged in prayer and fasting, sometimes for 50 or even 100 days, and I sensed God calling me to create a group. Although I initially hesitated, the events surrounding the Israel-Hamas war in October deeply shook me. As a theology student studying eschatology, I became increasingly aware of the urgency of doing something for God. I took the step, formed the group, and together we prayed for direction. God gave us the name Youth for Christ. I started without a clear plan, but with a strong passion to bring people to Jesus. We began with simple preaching sessions and question-and-answer discussions. Although we were young and inexperienced, we were full of zeal.

The journey has been a season of growth, healing and discovering purpose. Even when the ministry faced persecution, challenges and low attendance, God used those experiences to strengthen me. Through YFC, I have grown in faith and ministry and have seen God work through prayer, healing, prophecy and the transformation of young people. What began as a small group with a simple desire to reach people for Christ has grown into a vibrant ministry with over 600 members online and more than 100 people attending events.

By November 2024, we held our first overnight meeting. Despite persecution and low turnout, I continued to trust God. In 2025, I rose again, and in March we held a prayer retreat attended by about 16 people. God moved powerfully during that retreat. From there, the ministry began transitioning from being primarily online to becoming a vibrant physical ministry. I began praying for the sick and operating more boldly in the gifts God had given me. What started with hesitation and uncertainty has grown into a movement reaching hundreds of young people, all by God's grace.

I joined YFC through a friend in 2025. I cannot really say I was an unbeliever because I was raised in a Christian family, but I can say I was a 'sideline Christian' or a 'Sunday Christian'. Following YFC updates became a turning point for me. Grace met me at my lowest. I felt empty and did not know my purpose until I attended a retreat at Ndadhiniwa Prayer Mountain.

The retreats helped me find answers to questions such as: Who am I? Why was I created? Why do I exist? What is my purpose on earth? I came to understand that the mission of a Christian is knowing Christ and making Him known. My heart now yearns for the nations, and I am no longer ashamed of the Gospel.

My journey moved from passive Christianity to a deeper commitment to Christ and the mandate of soul winning. YFC retreats, teachings and fellowship gave me a clearer sense of identity, purpose and responsibility as a Christian.

I joined YFC through a friend when YFC was still emerging. At first, I thought I was simply joining another WhatsApp group, and I never imagined that I would have such a meaningful experience.

Through YFC I have made many friends, although I would rather call them family. They are very dear to my heart. The fellowship, outings and interactions have made my spiritual life feel lighter and more joyful. YFC has become a place where I feel loved, connected and at home.

Since joining, I have grown significantly. Looking at where we have come from and where we are going, I can see the greatness of God. What began as an ordinary group became a spiritual family and an important part of my journey with Christ.

I joined YFC in July. Since joining, I have consistently participated in midnight prayers. Even when I become tired, the community continues to give me strength.

The teachings have genuinely been changing me. In only about a month and a half, I had already learned a lot and experienced meaningful spiritual growth.

My journey shows how consistent fellowship, prayer and teaching can create change in a short period. YFC has helped me develop discipline in prayer and remain encouraged even when I feel tired.

I joined YFC around July of the previous year. Since then, it has been an amazing journey. I found myself a village because when things get tough, YFC is simply there for me, sometimes without even knowing it.

YFC gave me a platform to serve God and grow. I was someone who lacked confidence and experienced serious stage fright. One of my prayer points for the year was to improve my self-esteem, and YFC became part of the answer to that prayer.

My journey has been one of moving from insecurity toward greater confidence. Through opportunities to serve, participate and grow within the ministry, I have been encouraged to believe in myself and step forward.

Before I met YFC, I was short-tempered. I prayed, but when I faced difficult situations I could easily feel like giving up. I often prayed for God to bring people into my life who would encourage me and push me to do better so that I would not fall.

Then YFC came into my life. Through YFC, I found a family that loved me, treated me well and encouraged me. The experience taught me that when you ask God for something small, He can give you something much greater.

My journey with YFC has been a journey from asking God for supportive people to actually finding a community that provides encouragement, love and accountability. I am deeply grateful for YFC and the family I have found here.

I joined YFC in January this year after a friend brought me to the group simply to ask a question. My original plan was to ask what I wanted to ask and then leave the group. I never expected what followed.

In less than a year, I found a family. I found big brothers and big sisters who have taught me so much. I joined the Intercession Department and the Praise and Worship Department and have had a wonderful time serving. I also found a prayer partner and have learned a lot through these relationships.

My journey has helped me understand what it means to love God and enjoy prayer. I have especially grown to appreciate midnight prayer. What began as a simple question unexpectedly became a deeper spiritual journey and a place where I feel I belong.

Before joining Youth for Christ, I lived a wayward life. I was not particularly interested in church. I would go on Sundays, pray and return home, and it had become more of a routine. When I joined YFC, I realized that I needed to take my relationship with God seriously.

My life has been transformational since then. I began speaking in tongues through my experience in YFC and rediscovered spiritual gifts I thought I had lost. YFC helped me realize that God can work through unexpected situations and people.

What began as a random invitation to a fellowship became a family and a source of mentorship. My journey with YFC has moved me from routine Christianity toward a more intentional and personal relationship with God.

This person shared a prayer request concerning his mother, who is diabetic and was experiencing difficulty with certain foods. He asked the YFC family to pray for her, expressing his strong belief that God could intervene.

They later shared an encouraging update about his mother's blood sugar levels. He recalled that a previous reading had been 28.8 and that a later test showed 6.8. He expressed gratitude for the prayers and encouragement received through the YFC community and saw the experience as an answer to prayer.

This testimony shows how YFC has become a place where members can bring personal and family concerns before God and receive prayer, encouragement and support from the wider community.

A YFC member shared about experiencing difficulty breathing whenever exposed to dust and becoming concerned about the situation. During a YFC prayer/audio session, the member prayed and trusted God concerning the difficulty.

The member later shared that the difficulty subsided, including after exposure to dust, and expressed deep gratitude to God. The experience strengthened their faith and encouraged them to continue trusting God in difficult moments.

The testimony reflects the role of YFC as a supportive prayer community where members can share personal struggles, ask others to stand with them in prayer, and celebrate encouraging outcomes together.

This person shared a testimony about wanting to travel to school while facing a financial challenge. His mother did not have the money needed at the time, and his brother was expected to assist him. The situation became a matter of prayer and trust in God.

The experience became a reminder of God's ability to provide even when circumstances appear uncertain. Sharing the testimony also reflected the encouragement members receive when they bring their needs before the YFC family.

This story demonstrates growing trust in God and openness within the YFC community. His willingness to share a personal need and testimony illustrates how fellowship has become part of members' everyday spiritual journeys.
